I am Doris Burdette and I am married to Jimmy Burdette a Vietnam veteran. He is a member of VHVA. I started coming to the meetings with him, and began to serve coffee and doughnuts to the VHVA members as they arrived about 9 years ago. I became an honorary member due to the time and effort I had placed within the VHVA. Personally, I enjoy helping people especially Veterans.

I owned my own hairdressing business for 46 years. While being a part of VHVA, I have become a large part of the Wives Club along with Sandy. I joined the Marketing Team because I want to help get the VHVA's new home built, and to help out as long as I can.
