This event will be held at Mason Century Farms every Saturday and Friday until January 6th.

Friday:
4PM EST - 9PM EST

Saturday:
1PM EST - 6PM EST

Concessions will be available at the venue. NO Alcohol.

Competition Rules:

Please note that scopes will not be allowed during the competition at any time.

Each shooter gets 1 round, either shotgun, (gauges 410, 28, 20, 16, or 12)  or .22 rifle. You can shoot your own weapon or VHVA will provide one for you.

There are 10 shooting positions. The shooters will line-up (positions 1-10) and get their assigned targets; take them down range; and clip the target to the target holders. The range will be declared hot and or live. Shooter 1 will be call to the line to shoot, after that 2 will be called to shoot etc. until all have shot.

The range master will declare the range closed. Shooters will clear their weapons lay them on the gun table or the ground in front of their shooting position. They will be breached open; then they will walk down range, retrieve their target and deliver it to the judges.

WHEN THE RANGE IS CLOSED SHOT GUNS AND .22 RIFLES WILL BE BREACHED OPEN, PLACED ON TABLE, GROUND, OR CARRIED OVER THE SHOULDER BREACHED OPEN, HAND ON BARREL WITH BARREL POINTED DOWN.
ANY VIOLATIONS WILL DISQUALIFY YOU FROM THE TOURNAMENT.

There will be 3 judges. They will review the targets and decide which shooter won. The targets will be judged by the human eye and calipers. If the targets are too close to call there will be a shoot-off to determine the winner.

The winner, if shooting a shotgun will be awarded a $20 gift certificate towards a turkey, ham, or any other meat. If the shooter uses a .22 rifle they will get a $10 gift certificate.
